Living In Light of the End

Many people today sense the world is heading toward an end—whether through climate crisis, war, or technology. In 1 Peter 4:7-11, Peter agrees the end is at hand, but for a very different reason: God is bringing history to its conclusion in Christ. So how should we live in light of that coming day?

Belonging to the Body

To belong to Christ is to belong to his body, the church. But for those who live in an individualistic, consumerist culture, this is not as intuitive as we might think. We need to let the gospel reshape our thinking about who we are, where we belong in the body, and what function we have.
